In Tuesday, Feb. 13, BWH launched “Quality Rounds,” a new lecture series dedicated to communicating the many aspects of quality improvement and patient safety occurring at BWH and in the larger medical community. The first lecture, “Involvement of Patients and Families in Quality Improvement Processes,” was led by Lawrence Shulman, MD (pictured above) and Patricia Reid Ponte, RN, DNSc. “Quality Rounds” is sponsored by BWH President Jeffrey Otten and Chief Medical Officer Andy Whittemore, MD. All staff are welcome to attend the next “Quality Rounds” lecture, which will take place on Tuesday, March 20, 12-1 p.m. in the Anesthesia Conference Room, CWN L-1.
